Welcome!
This facility provides academic and industry researchers with access to physical and chemical characterisation techniques and technologies managed by the School of Chemistry. The techniques available include Mass Spectrometry, Spectroscopy (UV-Vis, Infra-red and Raman), Chromatography, Thermal Analysis (TGA and DSC), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR), Elemental Analysis and Atomic Spectroscopy (ICP-OES and ICP-MS). Please note we are not a centrally funded Platform, as such we have very finite staff resources. With external projects slotted around our regular duties for the School of Chemistry.
